I heart the Peggy Sue Project.
My dear friend Nicole Sykes has just launched her spanking new portfolio site, Peggy Sue Project and you gots to check it out. Nicole is a super talented Art Director and blossoming jeweller. The Peggy Sue Project is jam packed with ad's you actually want to look at, and these delicious brooches... aren't they gorgeous? I love the WWII feel and the modern doodley aesthetic surrounds. Oh yes, I heart the Peggy Sue Project.

Art In The Streets
If you're in the Los Angeles area, you better get your arse to Art in The Streets. It's a wonderland of awesome. Almost an overload even - graffiti bouncing from every wall, with (nearly) every (mostly american and male) street artist you've ever given a poop about. Plus a comprehensive breakdown of the artforms history, including honorable mentions of graffiti's crossovers into rap, the skater culture, punk, gang affiliates etc etc etc.
Outside of the streets, and inside of museum walls, street art changes context and becomes a BIT MUCH really, all on top of one another like that. But it's 'bit muchness' is what makes this exhibit a special kind of feast, and definitely worth making the schlep downtown for. If your not in L.A , boo hoo for you, and enjoy these photos instead.

Imprint Interview.
My first interview EVER. I am not gonna pretend to be cool about this. Exposure kinda makes me queasy. Now I simply have to live up to all the lovely words from the uber awesome Tami Mnoian. Read the full article here, what else have you got to do with your time?

Live in the now.
Today I received a lovely suprise in the post. The Live Now book, created by Eric Smith, from I Draw All Day. Live Now is a collection of positive messages from over a hundred artists worldwide. Eric Smith was diagnosed with cancer sometime ago, and rather than letting it get the better of him says it gave him "the ability to absorb every moment as if each one were my whole life. The Live Now Project was born!". Live Now is a gem of a book and I'm so pleased to have been involved. My piece above, was a collaborative piece between myself and Eric. And one of my dear friends Kelly Steven is featured too. Hurrah! Thanks Eric!
